I made $50 a week when i was 13. Helping my uncle build houses after school and summer time. (more like, hey boy!! get out of the damn mud and get some 2 x 4s)
Don't hear that much anymore. Kids are to busy playing computer games like Ace High or texting
My parents wouldn't allow me to have any games like that. Grew up in a "military style" home. (father was chief of police) Had to keep my hair short, finger nails were inspected once a week to make sure they were short enough. Had to work for what I WANTED. Not for what i needed. I wanted a new toy. I had to go work for it.
N i got bellybutton whippings
$5 whole dollars a week? When I was your age I had a little push mower that I went around the neighborhood with mowing lawns every week for $20 each. Why now try that or something similar?
im going to start working and get like 5$ a week (not a real job im 13) and going to give my dad 20$ to let me play game. hope to see you in the skys now i need money for a joy stick
Sounds like you have a good dad, just do what he says for that 5 bucks/week. Just remind him there's 4.3 weeks/per month (on average) so that comes out to $21.fiffy/month.
Had to work for what I WANTED. Not for what i needed. I wanted a new toy. I had to go work for it.
Was me, I bumped a power cord. HiTEch
