Snow

I was just thinking that if it was possible, HTC could make some of the arenas, on occasion, a map terrain with some snow on the ground. I understand it would be difficult to create a maps with adverse weather such as rain, etc. But if it was possible, a map with snow on the ground would be a great addition because it can't always be summer with sunny weather, right?...OK, it was just a thought.

There is a whole bandwagon of people that have begged for desert terrain and snow covered terrain for years.

Why HTC has not integrated such maps or terrain into the main arenas is still odd, imo.  It isnt like the terrain files, codes, etc are not available, we've played on those desert and snow maps in the special events arenas, and with much glee I may add.  Playing on the same-same European green forest maps, with a bit of the same-same Pacific palm tree and foilage maps mixed (i.e. GREEN-GREEN-GREEN) gets a bit ho-hum after awhile.

+1.  Main arena terrains and weather are two areas where AH really lacks, IMO.

There are player submitted MA terrains I believe.  Might be your best bet is to learn how and make a terrain with desert or snow.

The problem is not that we don't have terrains, HTC does not use them for MA.

What I'm saying is that there are player made terrains for the MA.  Folks might just want to do one and submit it.  We've had desert in the MA in the past if memory serves.
