Bruv you KNOW i fly, you've flown with me in SEA operations, as well as shooting me down in MA.. so you KNOW im not a coward... but I AM one of those who will use a softgun to defend a base, or a SB to sink a cv..and at the risk of blowing my own trumpet im better at that than any other aspect of the game. I also agree that there should be a penalty for deaths in fieldguns. Its always bugged me how i get my name up for kills when I die in one. But when a fieldgun is so easy to kill if i survive long enough to kill 6 ,7 or 15 enemy planes ( only done that once ) then it kinda sucks that i get nothing at all for it.
Dadsguns ,2 of your posts fairly scream " im too darned lazy to read a whole post" , If you HAD read the whole post that falcon made you would have known he wasnt asking for anything to be made easier for him as he admits he sucks in the darned guns. He was actually asking for something that would benefit OTHER people. But meh, I'm not gonna get into a flame war with you.. it isnt worth it.
SO, to get back on subject... Perk points for field gunners.. yes please but also have deaths work same as with vehicles etc. No name on the board etc... Im not sure about having the perks spreadable tho... maybe have them go to vehicle points? I dunno on that aspect. Or maybe have a gunner select where the perks go in the same way as you do in certain planes , " score as A or B " kinda thing.
