No biggie, you were just offering help.   :salute

BTW, if you have any other functional joysticks that you are giving away, let me know.
If you have pedals, you can save Zack $100.  :)

I gave my x52 stick away only kept the throttle to use with ch stick.  I have my old extreme 3d pro, wich was an awesome stick.  havent used it in a year will try it next couple of days.  if it works you can have it.

I had a broken wire in my X52 stick that I couldnt fix. I pulled out my old FFB Sidewinder and still used the Throttle section. Once I got it all set up in game I was amazed at how well everything worked. No more bouncing issues ( I never could really get the stick tuned to the way I wanted it). Now whenever i want to feel really angry, I look up on the shelf to the X52 dust collector.

Just did this mod last night.... I saw the YouTube clip on it quite a while ago but just figured it was to much of a PITA.

I also did the "cut the top off of a CD container" mod.....tightened the spring up nicely. (Better than the wads of paper I WAS using).

It only took about 1/2 an hour to get everything in.    Plugged it back in....everything was upside down and backwards...and the stick only responed through 1/2 the zone on the Console.    Pulled everything.....reversed the magnets and put BOTH magnets in ....  WOW.

Calibrated on took off......

absolutely...positively....ZE RO nose bounce.   My 51-D rolled quick and smooth....I pulled lead and DIDNT STALL!  LOL.

My kill ratio in a furball was about 3:1.  Which is a HUGE improvement for me.

I highly recommend this mod.   It works nicely!

I'm in need of an X-52 stick for parts.  I'll be able to pass on this stick that Gary26 sent me, via our AH classifieds.
PM me if you want to work something out on it.
