For the most part, the western community seems to migrate to SimHQ while the Ruskies stick with the official forums.  I haven't been online for about a month in RoF but I never really had any troubles finding a squadron that was running a server.  Sometimes though, some would be salamanderish and boot you but others would let you stick around.  It seems if you want to play online, it's best to hook up with a squadron.

Whenever I check for servers, it's usually the same one or two and both are password protected. The few times I've managed to get into one, its either a completely lopsided 'mission' that someone is running to feel like the uberleet (D.VIIs against unescorted Bruguet 14s, anyone?) or someone who tells you that he's just 'practicing' and immediately kicks you out.

I'm gonna have to try SimHQ, the NeoQB forums are useless.

Just a question, given the WWI arena usage we see everyday since implementation

There is a small (but very consistent) community in the WW1 arena and all these people including myself pay the same amount of money to play this game. I invite you to one of the events ScTusk organize and maybe you change your mind about the ww1 arena ... please dont hesitate to scream when you find yourself flying at the incredible speed of 150 mph or break a wing in a turn , or if after you hit your opponent for 100 times in a row his plane simply keeps flying because your rounds are not big enough... or maybe after few maneuvers you find yourself in a collision course with the enemy ... yes you need to get close and personal and there is no ubber cannons or 1 hit kill... no wonder it is not for everybody !!!   

Would we not be better off if development effort was not devoted to WW1 Arena any more? Would the use of these resoureces not speed up and make the EARLY/MID/LATE WWII Arena's better than they are today? You tried the WWI arena and it did not fly with the Aces High Community, just accept that for what it is and move on

Making  the ww1 arena bigger and bringing  more effort and more planes to a community that is screaming for it will achieve the same thing ... <Salute>

Hi Tech said the rumor is not true. End of story.

Maybe there will be a poll down the road on what plane or planes we would
like to see in the WWI arena. I left my post awhile back in the Wishlist Forum.
