You can get an easyout kit from any hardware store, some for as little as 10-15 bucks.
Problem is finding one small enough...
3mm is about .1181" or just a hair smaller than a #32 wire gauge drill bit, and that is the size of the screw, itself.
Drilling a pilot hole for an eze-out would be just shy of 1/2 of that diameter, or just shy of 1/16". Pretty small hole. I've never seen an eze-out that small that was of any use.
Might be just as easy to drill from the back side with a center drill and then a 4mm drill and try to screw it right on through, or center drill, then progress from smaller drills and continue on up until what is left of the screw falls out, then replace the screw.
