do japanese tanks do that too?
technically yes they should due to the fact that iirc all japanese tanks had stronger frontal armor also.

pointed front? do you mean sloped armor? no it doesnt but the gun mantle would provide extra armor protection

If the Panther has as horrifically lulzy armour as those most-recently-added Shermans do, then I await it's arrival to the game with baited breath; it should make for some nice 75mm lunch (some day, at least).
Afk for a year or so.  The name of a gun turret in game.  Falanx, huh?
Apparently I'm in the 20th FG 'Loco Busters', or so the legend goes.

Categorizing the Panther's side armor as very weak is an exaggeration. It is still better then the M4 and on par with the T-34. The Panther was designed for the medium tank role, not the heavy breakthrough role the Tiger was designed for. Simplified the Panther can be described as a T-34 with the Firefly's gun and Tiger's frontal protection.

If I ever take one out, there's no doubt I will roll it over against a rubber tree and be machine-gunned to death by a jeep.
... missions were to be met by the commitment of alerted swarms of fighters, composed of Me 109's and Fw 190's, that were strategically based to protect industrial installations. The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB

Can anyone even give an accurate prediction of when we will get the Panther?

Before we get the Beaufighter, thank god.

That's it!  I'm gonna become a tank killer once I get my Beaufighter!  Gonna hunt Panthers with it!

Torpedo them, then rockets, then the Hizooka, all into the side :D
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

Awesome!!!

I hope they do the running gear too - it was a smooth ride and could fire on the move better than most other tanks.
Here we are, living on top of a molten ball of rock, spinning around at a 1,000mph, orbiting a nuclear fireball and whizzing through space at half-a-million miles per hour. Most of us believe in super-beings which for some reason need to be praised for setting this up. This, apparently, is normal.

Hey that's great!  Will give you something to do in your retirement in 20 or so years, when we get the Beaufighter.  I mean really, other critical planes which contributed far more are needed before the Beaufighter.  Such as the TBD, He 100, Gloster Gladiator, Mitsubishi F1M, PZL P.11 etc..
