Perfect so no one need tell the [adjective]s to shut up, just squelch them. Get it? It's not a choice of 200 or nothing, you can leave 200 on and squelch just the [adjective]s.

Bzzzzt!  Wrong answer!  We do not want political nor religious discussions to take place in the game.  I am pretty sure I cannot be any clearer than that.

No it isn't the wrong answer.  Inapropriate/unrelated speech is a problem. Making that problem worse is 5 times as many folks who continuously tell them to shut up. I'm for them shutting up, and I'm fine with YOUR rule and YOU doing what you need to to shut them up, but we only need one Skuzzy, not an army of Skuzzy wannabees.

Telling these guys to shut up on 200 only draws more bullcrap from them, which only escalates the problem [you know that better than anyone]. My point is why bother, when serenity is a .squelch command away.

I thought the idea was to avoid folks not getting hostile with each other. Advocating that the community beat these folks down on 200 sounds contrary to your goal of a civil community.

Think about it.  :salute

I did not say a word about beating anyone down or getting hostile with each other.  I said, use the .report mechanism as it is a valid use for those discussions.
