Or do they all have to be USB?

Can u use ?

In AH u sure can use them all . Set the Throttle up with at least one button as a direct x button so you can do the calibration in windows control panel . Any game that lets you have mulit controlers that windows see's will let u have that option .

In AH u set the control options up in the game setup under joysticks , plus you can set all the buttons and hats there too ( well two hats and 16 buttons ) for more you will have to use speed keys .

If you don't want speed keys to do all the work use as my direct x buttons as you can , that way you can have mulit joystick setups in AH , I had one for air to air , bombers , then ground work . As speed keys don't have the 3 mode option that the Saitek sticks have .

I sent my bud airguard in Norway my old Pro Throttle and he is using it with a USB MSFFBack 2 joystick and now that I use the New USB CH Pro pedals , have sent off the standard CH peds for him too .

Any controls that windows see's should work fine .

cheers spro

My kitten is so funny , hehe . She makes me smile lots   Thanks for asking !

BTW u can use your stick setup in CFS2 also , it has even more options than AH does now .

You should consider the Saitek hottas though , I was scared to own them at first after reading all the bad press out on them . But reaper finally talked me into it , they have a very nice feel to them . Sometimes I miss the way the CH Pro Throttle slides back and forth as Saitek rotates ( had to use a book under my arm wraped in a towel , fixed it   ) but the joystick has the best feel of any I have owned yet . The software while alittle hard to get to know and setup the first time is and does things that speed keys won't . The shift cycle action is a good case to point too , I set one button to make the map bigger and smaller , on speed keys you would have to use two to do that , now first push makes it bigger , second makes it smaller .

Hey after that fighter stick eight way hat you would love were the hat placement is on this stick

If they last long enough they will be worth the trouble to learn and then some IMO . Right now www.bestbuy.com  has nice deals on them , it's were I bought mine .  74.95 to my door was pretty good deal I thought .

I really liked my CH gear though if they only would have made the hat that I could reach easy a 8 way would have stuck with them .

cheers spro

Easy fix there airspro - converts lower hat into an 8-way one... Leaving you with 2 8-way hats ...

i had the 4-way hat drilled to make it a 8-way hat. BUT.... everytime i used any button and looked left with the hat at the same time the guns would fire.   When i sent the stick back in to have it reworked they sent me another stick with a different serial # on it and the 4-way hat was 4 way again. So i left it like that and learned to play with the 4 way hat. Now i have the 8 way thing i have to get use to it now.
