I love jumping teams. I make sure that I have a really high score so that when I do jump teams, I can commandeer the CV's and purposefully get them sunk.

The delay is already 90 minutes.... What are you asking for and why didn't you post in Wishlist?

Most of the time a mission is busted by blind chance.

Otherwise, switching sides for "easy kills" for about five minutes versus staying switched for an hour seems like a pretty fair trade off.

<SNIP>

 In the interests of fairness, a time out from the arena they were in would neutralize this advantage and penalize team jumpers, the time of a team change would still be one hour, only at the time of a team change a ten minute block would be placed on the arena they were in, the player would have to use one of the other arenas for this time out period.

In the interests of "fairness", HTC has ENY implemented to ENCOURAGE switching chess pieces.  I doubt they will undermine and mollify a system that they worked so hard to enact.

Waiting 10 minutes to fly in the same arena because I didn't want to be part of the horde is acceptable...  as soon as you start paying my account.

It would be useless to stop "spying" for any player that has been playing for any length of time and has befriended folks on other countries.  I, personally, have cell phone numbers for around 15 players in this game, all from different chess piece nations, not including the guys in my squad.  All I would have to do is make a phone call or send a text to circumvent this "waiting period"

We at the 39th FS "Cobra In The Clouds" have an counter intelligence officer to sniff out such wretched acts of betrayal and deceit. The next time you want to carry out one of your clandestine missions please contact one of us first (secret code and hand shake will be PMed of coarse). We will comb the area ahead of your mission and deal with the side switching vermin if and when we make contact.
Please feel free to PM me your mission details ASAP so we can place our operatives in strategic locations. Time is of the essence sir. Lives are at stake.

We are sending our resident sketch artist Field Marshal Erich "Fugitive" Hartmann to your Headquarters within the hour, so we may get a clearer picture of what these perpetrators of AcesHigh war crimes my look like.

Help us help you win teh war today! :noid

As we all know in Aces high you can change teams when you like, which is an advantage if a teams eny is low and you don't want to fly low quality planes. Also opportunities to bomb the capitol may arise and allow you to land some good scores. One problem though is that many unscrupulous players can study the radar, notice a mission occurring or bombers slow moving blip and jump teams, using the Intel to ambush former team mates.It takes time and effort complete a bomber mission and we all know rank is determined by an averaged score of different types of war machines, bombing is part of the process of rank. So bombers can be ambushed using this method.
It is possible to throw off the identifying DAR bar by flying below radar, breaking visual and last radar position and the enemy DAR bar will not show a clever low lying bomber that can then climb, gaining altitude and is invisible to the enemy radar until a base sights the aircraft or another plane. Bombers doing this are harder to detect and often fly longer slower routes. So when such an aircraft is located it, unless by blind chance the highest probability chance is that a team jumper noted its position and located the aircraft.
What would eliminate this would be a imposed time delay, of say ten minutes to be imposed on team jumpers, meaning they cant log into the same arena for ten minutes or so, time to make observed radar headings worthless. There are many pilots who have used this trick to gain kills, bushwhack bombers, steer cvs to their watery graves and to gain knowledge of an incoming mission. Some consider this an accomplishment, I consider it using a loophole to behave unethically and dishonorably.
 :O:bolt: :devil
In reality in a war or a simulation of one, a pilot jumping teams, with fresh tactical and radar location knowledge gains an unfair advantage and many have used this Intel to vulch kills. In the interests of fairness, a time out from the arena they were in would neutralize this advantage and penalize team jumpers, the time of a team change would still be one hour, only at the time of a team change a ten minute block would be placed on the arena they were in, the player would have to use one of the other arenas for this time out period.
This way when returning to the arena, the time would have rendered most radar heading and mission observances worthless.The loss of time would convince some to stick it out and not abandon their team like rats fleeing a sinking ship. A simple change in the rules could increase ethical conduct and greatly improve the game.
