Fix it or go back!
« on: December 10, 2010, 10:22:15 PM »
this whole off peak and peak hours things need to be fixed so every week a new map is switched in. For the last three weeks, we have had the same two horrible maps in both peak hours arena where there are no good fights at all, whether it be gv's or a2a. none of the sides are ever going to win these maps!

At this point, i would much rather have the old system than this one, and deffinately not alone in that feeling.

I CANT TAKE ANOTHER WEEK OF THIS!

:aok
yup

3-4 weeks of the same map is ridiculous though. there has been a total of 1 map change in the four arenas this whole time that im aware of. There is no point in having other maps if we cant use them.

Don't fret flight, hitech is working on making base taking more competitive again.  Maps will start cycling through quicker once this occurs, as winning the war will become much more feasible again.

hmm

in the last few weeks I got new maps

The LAST one I got was a GV'rs wet dream.. but alas.. I hang out in that arena that doesn't have killboards above their platforms.

I dont mind the arena "on/off" hours as much as I thought I would, but I too agree that with both arenas on the SAME map it does get a bit old.

I'd like to see MORE maps, and perhaps a weekly reset.  A new map with the Weds reset after Titanic Tuesday makes the most sense, imo.

New maps are a lot of work.  Start one and see for yourself.

The two maps in LW are basically the same, only one is bigger.  Neither is one of my favorites and it is getting to be a drag.   Would be nice if a one week automatic reset was in place.
