Better Tank moves
« on: December 12, 2010, 05:31:47 PM »
Ok so im getting tired of dieing becasue I have to put my tank in the direct fire in order to shoot at the enemy. Can't we just have something set up with the throtle that way we can control how the tank moves from our main gun?

You know you can use yaw control (rudder) to turn your tank while in other positions (like the main gun) of the tank?

Can't edit from my blkBerry....

Also, remember to create angles, you never want to be full frontal, leave your tank on an angle to target.

I know about how you can move your tank left and right wile moveing from the main gun but im talking about going from a dead stop to moveing and turning right from your main gun. So you can controll forward, back, left, right ...

...buuuut, if they fire from any other angle than 90*, the round must penetrate more metal to get to squishy/explosive insides of the tank.

If it wasn't you, I'd go into detail on why that is... But me thinks you're trying to be a bad person. :)

I think it would be preferable to have the ability to stop the tank from the main gun and pintle MG positions.

Thats like asking for b17's to have a mini screen where you control the rear guns while still flying.

LLogann is wise master tanker when he said that. So true! Taking Full frontal and side shots will get you killed quick. Angles are best. many rounds just bounce off..

When you start moving hit your X key to engage auto direction. Use your twist stick or rudder pedals for steering control while looking through your turret..
Move, Stop, look and listen. Move stop look and listen. That is my advise for staying alive. Don't feel bad Nasty, I spent my first month playing not knowing that I could zoom in my sights to see things. Spent one month being cannon fodder to every tanker in the game..

yea barbara your gona wanna angle your tank  to the opponent so that you give them no easy flat shot. Also the front is highly armored to it is better to keep that end to the front while maintaining an angle. ANGLES ANGLES!
