P51s were the most widely used plane in Korea iirc... but iirc also that the North Koreans didnt use any prop planes but just the Russian Migs... And from battling in 262s i know for a fact that the Mig15 and the F86 wont be blackouts all the time. (no, i havent just fought high Gs in 262s just in jet week...)

North Korea also used the Po-2 and Yak-18 as both trainers and night time harasssment attack planes.

For the communist air forces, the Po-2 was the second most widely used plane and also the second most effective plane used by the communists.

The Yak-18 also enjoyed some success, the most successful Yak-18 night harassment raid took place on June 17, 1953 when a group of Yak-18s hit the fuel dump at Inchon, destroying more than 5 million gallons of fuel.

Cujo was not myself or Grizz.  Grizz was Grizz and I was Zoney.  Alot of the guys playing here now with 5 digit handles have kept them from AW days.  Predr is an IT guy now, he briefly played AH about a year ago and Predr is still friends with Cujo.  As I recall Cujo is a technician with one of the IndyCar race teams now.  My favorite handle from AW is a guy who only used symbols, no letters, as that was allowed then.  His name was    <'^><    we called him shark I believe.  I was always jealous of his creativity.

I remember a couple guys used some form of the handle griz, one who used to fly yaks a lot. I seem to remember running into deth7 not long after getting into AH. And I remember the shark guy.
Fear? You bet your life...but that all leaves you as you reach combat. Then there's a sense of great excitement, a thrill you can't duplicate anywhere...it's actually fun. Yes, I think it is the most exciting fun in the world. — Lt. Col. Robert B. "Westy" Westbrook, USAAF 6/<--lol@mod

No NO NO... His name was FISH, at least that's what we called him in the Confederate Knights (an all cop squad) and he was a squadmate of mine.  We were in RR2ETO and Worro was the squad leader.  Before some idiot starts with the racist stuff... we were NOT racist and had a variety of races in the squad.

All the Best...

Yeah, his handle was FISH.  I remember him getting flak sometimes because people would think he was preaching with his CPID.  Remember the CK's but didn't know they were all cops, explains why one of the old time 479th guys, =BILL got along so well with you guys.
