So how does one tell if one has been the victim of "attempted hijack?"  :lol

Good question, Skuzzy write you an email or is it an automatic forum feature?

Will the person who has tried to change my password on the forum please cease and desist. The handle is taken, being used and I am not interested in changing it. The fact that you tried 2 times this week alone to hijack it is more than a little bit rude.

Think of a name on your own and move on.  :huh

:rofl  Good to know that in a weeks time they lacked so much creativity that they embarked on making the same fail twice!

But seriously, given the scale and small niche that this game fills on the entire internets (and the even smaller portion of that who actually desire to participate on the forum), really kinda odd someone (I'm guessing a newcomer) would be so determined....  *hands out the tin foil* :noid

This individual tried to log in with my bulletin board name and then tried to change my password. The board automatically sends a notice to the e-mail account associated with your name to confirm you really want to change your password. In effect it was an attempt to steal the name as they obviously didn't have the cahones or integrity to contact me and ask about it.

The first time was simply rude. The second attempt went beyond simply rude.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."
