Looking for a squad as well..

Hi all,
Casually looking for a squad.  I'm from Fighter Ace, hadn't played there for a couple years, but had on and off for about 7-8 years.  So-so stick, mostly due to never really learning and stop/start play time.  Was in SYP and the Sacketts, but haven't found any of them online yet.  Looking for an adult group that likes to have fun and helps their noobish players, not a squad that reuqires a 2-1 ktoD ration etc.   I like air to air and ground attack,  bombers are OK but was never my forte-nothing really is my forte lol though!   Used to fly German/Russian more than others, JP and Us after that, Brits a bit lower.  Anyone who is recruiting pleez let me know so we can check each other out.  I've played thse sims enough to know it's more fun with friends, especially ones that help you learn the right way, as well as learning a game that is alot differetn than your last one.   Didn't play FA on Level 10, usually 5 or less so it's been a bit tough for me.  Blackout more here than I did partying in College! lol.   I can also double as the Squad Dentist do that's a plus!! lol

Check out the 39th Cobra in the clouds. We fly P38, P39, P47, P51, basically the planes the real 39th flew. We are not too strict on this. - like to fly 109s, another guy likes his KI and so on. When we are on we try to fly together and just go out to have fun.

Look for Twinboom, Uptown, or me and have some fun.

~Air Raiders~ is an all-adult squad with no ride requirements and we are not too strict on attendance.  We do require that members treat each other and other members of AH with respect.  We participate in FSO as well.  We have some good sticks in the squad who are always willing to help teach.  You can find us on VOX 190 -- knights.

I think I am set as a Bishop.  Don't really understand what the difference is, except being opposing sides.  Is that all it is?  Can u use any AC on any *chesspiece* side?  Havne't found a detail explain of it, which is why it seems jus the game's way of deliniating sides.

Yeah all the sides are basically the same. When you subscribe to the game it just randomly assigns you a side. You're free to change countries whenever by just going to the o'club on your clipboard and click on "change countries". After you change sides you have to stay on that side for 1 hour IIRC, before you can change to another.


There's a lot of great people and squads on all 3 sides. Good luck in your search!
