Who Wants Rain?

You know what would be real cool if we could get some rain in AH. And with the right wind conditions we might be able to get a hurricane or a tornado! Now that would be extreme to fly right into a huricane or a tornado. Youd get tossed around and eventually tossed into the ground.   What do you think?

I would like to see rain. It's cool in Flightsim 2000 and in X-Plane. Would add another item of immersion.

Don't know about tornadoes and hurricanes don't really see what they would add to the game aspect of it.

Good thoughts there Grandson  :).

Didnt the Pacific theater have some pilots get disorented and either crash or damaged because of great storms over the sea?

Perhaps Iceing conditions and other Flight hampering situations could be implemented  :D

Rain would make my already low frame rate drop considerably.

I like the idea! It would add more to the game including the sea battles. The would be shorter and might tend to hide or camoflage naval movement. Adding instrument flying to the mission aspect would make us all better pilots. CV landings would be hairy but nothing like a good "rainy trap to keep you comin back"!  :)

The rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain.

Do we have a map of that? No, so there's your answer.

Get to it Nuttz.

The Sheep will shrink when they get wet.

Those advocating rain and instument landings...

Do you fly during "night time"? Won't it give rise to the same whines?

And as for instument landings, if the cloud level is set to ground level (or if the base is elevated), you'd have perfect English fog to land in.... But I don't think I'd like it....

Hangtime the only time the sheep will shrink is when I start tearing them to pieces with the prop on my spitfire.
