Happy Holidays all,  I will be skipping this event because I just don't care for the 262 in ANY event or on the main for that matter, I am sure my squad will be there just not me.  Good luck with the event.

That's a first for me...

Care to explain? 12 262's a frame is enough for you to call it quits for a tour of FSO?

I would have to agree, I absolutely hate the suck and blows for these events. Never cared for them much in scenarios either. But it is what it is. Other than that this one looks to be another fun event.  :rock

TA-152 just as dangerous in this setup as the 262...

the 262's are going to be pretty much a non factor in fights...no one is going to use them like they do in the ma's...yeah a few people might get picked off in a fight here and there, but the ta-152s will be more dangerous.

Boxboy, I assure you that the 262 are not much of a threat.  My squad encounter them a few times in FSO and we shot down a few.  It is the 152, 109-K, G will be more of a issue.

Actually this next event will be axis for our squad in the rotation, it is just a personal thing with me.  I just don't care for them or the bomber jet, IMO they were so few that I feel they have no place in the game (not to argue I know there alot of you that love em, just a pet peve of mine).

I don't do FSO on a routine basis, but this one seems fairly lopsided to me. Not because of the jets, most people don't know what they are doing in them anyway.

I respect the work the CMs do for scenarios and other events, but I had to say it.

edit: you could even the odds by giving the Soviets the massive advantage they had in men and equipment as they had historically.

actually have to agree with that...same goes for a few other aircraft and gv's that exist in the game.

doesn't look that lopsided...with the exception of the jets...the las and yaks can out manuever anything the axis have available...altitude performance could be argued but...if i had my druthers for this one, i'd be allied

Oh, dont be like that. Take it in the buttocks like a man.

I am super excited. Hopefully Axis CiC gives Kommando Nowotny (262 squad in WW2) 1 frame with jets. Last time we flew jets in FSO we got 24 kills, 7 pilots.

It's eastern front, what do you expect? :)

Why do you think we only did one Eastern Front FSO in 2010? :)
