Total Lunar Eclipse and Ursids Meteor Shower
« on: December 20, 2010, 12:03:20 PM »
For all interested: Tonight, visable nearly anywhere in Western Hemisphere (w/o cloud cover) will be a
Total Lunar eclipse. Also, the Ursids Meteor shower might be seen. It is mainly visable in extreme Northern
regions, but might be seen in many Southerly areas due to eclipse.
Peak is Dec. 21-23

lol.   the one problem with entering in Kansas is that there is a space portal hole that can send you anywhere in time. While still in Kansas, you will be stuck in that time till you egress out of Kansas and back to correct date and time as the rest of the world.   :D

What's cool is if you watch it now you can see the rays of the sun bounce off it and it looks like its varying in different shades. And while that's going on you can see the meteors pass by the moon. Pretty cool.

The first cloudy night has to be the night there is a total lunar eclipse.
