How would this work? Does your aircraft disappear? Or does it keep flying on auto-pilot? I could see people taking advantage of the former. Doesn't seem like this could work...

What happens when it's someone purposefully disconnecting, hmm? Just before he gets shot down he pulls the plug, then reconnects and he's "airspawned" in where he left off? :uhoh

Why not try to figure out why you disco every hour or so?

I know why I do... I have chitty internet

it would work like this...

You disco while your in a plane and it will switch to autopilot and keep flying straight and level but it leaves your plane(s) completely vulnerable to any enemy planes around..
Once your are reconnected and log back in to the arena you discoed from you would be put directly back into you plane(s).

This keeps people from pulling the plug b/c the plane(s) would not disappear and could be shot down

If you think about it, then a bomber being intercepted could "pull the plug" and disco before being shot down, then 5 min later when the nme con is gone, hook back up, jump in, and the bombers are in the same place without nme air cons around.... :salute

Pinglotter.com will tell you whose dropping packets on you and you can report them to your server. When you show them records of what's happening, it has more impact.  :airplane:
