When I started playing Aces High almost 2 years ago, I carried with me the Warbirds Code of Honor. Under no circumstances ever would you shoot the parachute of an opposing pilot. You just didn't do it. Period.
It was lowdown, skummy, and dweebish. Only dorks would shoot your chute.
Well, I started playing Aces High in October of '99 and was exposed to different players from other games. As a "warbirder" I had been taught that these people from such inferior games like "Airwarrior" and such were low-class scumbags who paid 9 bucks a month for their "gamey" game. I soon had heard rumors that these players had been doing such atrocity's in the game such as
openly shooting parachutes!I would post on the boards with my warbirds brethren denouncing the evils of this practice. The poor "Airwarriors" needed educating we thought.
Well, soon thereafter, there was this skumbag (
) named "creamo" who would fly N1K's and openely smoke my chute whenever he was around me!
I couldn't believe that this lowdown non-warbirder would do such a thing to me!
To make a long story short, here I am, 2 years into this game, and I am an openly happy car-bomber, and chute shooter.
There.
I said it.
And I like it too!
So you better look out! if you see a 109 near you, don't pull that ripcord til you're good and low!
