Error: Nebraska not in the Big Ten till 2011 season, but guess there is a reason for the "*".  Not surprise for all the losses except the MSU vs Bama game.

This is the time of the season when leagues are judged, and the Big Ten is on the spot. Again. Yes, the conference went 4-3 in bowls last season, the league's first winning postseason since 2002. But the six postseasons before that were disappointments: 3-5 in 2003, 3-3 in 2004, 3-4 in 2005, 2-5 in 2006, 3-5 in 2007 and 1-6 in 2008. And the Big Ten still is stained by Ohio State's losses in the BCS title games after the 2006 and '07 seasons. they are 2-5 this season so far with  with 1 game left to go either 3-5 or 2-6.

Not surprise for all the losses except the MSU vs Bama game.

I wasn't surprised at all.  SEC teams are some of the best in the nation.  Alabama had a rough year this year.  I was really disappointed, it wasn't what I expected at all.  But I'll take a 3 loss year any day.  Today's performance was the Tide that I was expecting to see all year.

In just about any given game between an SEC team vs. any other conference, I will choose the SEC team (with the exception of this year's Nat'l Championships...I hate Auburn).  My biggest surprise of any of the bowl games so far is Georgia vs. UCF in the Liberty Bowl.  I figured UGA would steamroll a C-USA team in a heartbeat, but they played like crap.  10-6?  Really?  Pitiful.  But, at least I was there to witness it with pretty good seats, and it was my first college football game!

Dear Big 10,

Take your vitamins and pray, maybe someday you'll be able to hang with the big kids.

Only WVU would be the arrogant ones that believe a 3 loss season is bad, just adds onto my hate of them.

The losses aren't the issue. It's WHO they lost too. Add on the sub-par play calling and general mis-use of talent. Case in point: The overtime loss to Uconn.  Noel Devine isn't in for a single snap.  Jock Sanders is in for 1 play.  You give the ball to your fumble prone fullback 2 plays in a row, one of which he guess what....FUMBLES.

Big Ten teams are built to play Big Ten schools.  Once they run into passing offenses of southern conferences, they fail hard.  The Rose Bowl showed that, the Florida/Florida St/Miami teams of the 90's and 2000's.  Big Ten is great for producing offensive linemen and larger positions for the NFL.
