Already made kids bleed at the new air soft battlefield down the street. My assault rifle really knows how to scare people, just the sound is terrifying much less the fact of being hammered down by it :D

Its funny, that green gas tank, can blow up a good chunk of a house and cause serious fire. So many warnings about it exploding, yet i carry it around like it wasn't a bomb lol :joystick:

Did you know the battery in your cell phone is just about as dangerous? So, danger boy, what's next on the agenda? Scaring penguins into jumping off ice cliffs?

Green gas is just propane, buy an adapter and don't waste your money.
Then again, considering you've got a JG, a WE and some other random Chinese pistol... ;)

What is the purpose of these guns? Not to be a smart alec, I'm just curious.

They fire soft pellets correct? Are they suitable for targets? and they don't mark with paint so are they suitable for  games?

What do you guys do with them?

Just like paintball without paint.

The guns are a lot more realistic looking so there's an element of 'sim' to it. It's like playing Aces High as compared to Ace Combat or some other console flight game. Less fast-paced, smaller demographic, but it also has the capability to go more 'sim', although there's no law saying that you can't just enjoy it for the fun and completely disregard that possibility. Like AH :)

Like Motherland said, paintball without paint. I used to play quite a bit, but now that I'm old enough, I'm discovering a real gun is only a little more expensive than Air Soft (In some cases, cheaper) so I've moved on to that.

So you shoot em at each other like paintballs?

How do you determine who wins if there's no paint?

Back when I was playing paintball most of the guns were pump action. I've seen some of the latest semi autos that look like M-16's and AK's.

Wish we had those back then.

Basically, it's an honor system. When I played, all that was available were large indoor fields. When you get shot, you basically put your hands over your head and walk off the field. It's relatively easy to tell when you hit someone at close range, and most guys were all honorable about walking off when they got hit. (After all, you don't wanna piss off the guy who's already shot you!).

My draw to airsoft over paintball was just the guns. I like the realistic appearance. If they managed to do it with paintball, I may have gone for that too.
