Uverse is dsl not cable though. Still, its good speed. I'm lucky my account is practically grandfathered into a really good rate... changing provider now would be slightly more expensive for less speed.

I just got uverse about a week and a half ago, showing packet loss with ping plotter. It took a few guys coming out to finally find a problem with the server in Chicago, they are working on it. have you run ping plotter? I know a guy in Auburn Hills who has packet loss with uverse as well, wondering if Redford is having the same issues.

SO yeah, the guy rewired the inside of house, then 5 hours later, more DC's.  Now they have to rewire from green box to the house..if that doesn't work, who knows what this is.

In Northern Virginia, have had Comcast ever since they first offered it here. Can't remember the last problem I had. Certainly more than three years ago, and that nothing major.

Do any of you other guys who have U-Verse notice this problem, a lot of times when I'm watching my TV I'll hit a button on my remote and there will be a lag for a few seconds before the box actually reacts to the button I just pushed, it seems to happen all the time, sometimes the lag can be like 5-10sec, it's really annoying, so far it's my only complaint with AT&T since switching over from Comcast 2 months ago.

Assuming its digital TV, that's the nature of the beast. probably depends on available bandwidth and such. our delay is usually a second or two

Same with my U-Verse, only on one TV though  :headscratch:  The other TVs are just fine with responding at remote commands. Maybe the TV is just a rebel, I will be right back *closes the blinds and doors*
