How about a plane a lot of people in AH has probably actually seen in action. The A1 Skyraider was used from 1940's thru 1970's in 3 different wars.  I was a grunt in VN, but watching this aircraft fully loaded roaring overhead letting loose on a VC bunker complex was to say the least, memorable.
