I hate to be a whiny-but punk but im really tired of sitting in a pile of mess because HTC miss modeled something
I hope to see it fixed but until then I play AH no longer.

It's just bad luck. The M4 has a nice gun and a shot to the turrent of a Tiger in pretty much anything will do some damage. I haven't had a problem with the modelling. Now if the shots were from long range, then I'd be suspicious, but if the shots were point blank, then even a Tiger has something to worry about.

Range is the trump card in all tank battles.  The M4A3 (W) 76mm has a cannon that is tied for all practical purposes with the T34/85mm in AP performance.  The Firefly, Panther, and Tiger are all superior guns, but again the trump card is the RANGE.  Be sure and compare and contrast the range charts and armor charts that are available in the hanger.  Right click the M4A3 (W) in the hanger, click on "Vehicle Armor", and take notes of the penetration values at 1k and 2k, then compare those stats to the armor of the Tiger, Panther, etc.

Most tanks in AH can defeat most tanks inside 1200 yards.  Beginning at 1600 yards, the tanks with the better armor protection, and that means either by raw armor or by the slope in which the armor is presented to the incoming rounds, the more armored tanks will typically last long in tank duels because they have the 9 lives to use.  ;)  Remember, the Tiger and Panther had major advantages in kill/death ratios in WWII.  There are reasons for that.

None of the tanks in AH are junk. They all have something to offer and when the best attributes of each tank is used to the fullest, good things usually happen.

It is more common in the M3, M8, M16 and the jeep.

I've seen it happen in the HVAP rounds before, though.

What research have you done to show something is not right?

And, if you're leaving until it is fixed, please do so.  I for one am tiring of the "look at me! Look at me! I'm leaving" threads only to see it was a terrible fib.

Buh bye now.

I'm under the impression that the shots that go right through have to do more with lag than anything else.  No?

I was told that it was a shot the penetrated the armor but hit nothing vital.. It was added b/c rounds that passed through the M3 were shown as riquochet instead of a round that went through the armor but didn't hit anything that would kill the vehicle.

The M4A3/76 is a fine tank with a good gun and may be the best over all tank in the game in my view. When it first came to the game I went off line and shot 100s of rds at tank drone. I did the same to the Panther when it came out. I also shot the Panther with every tank in the game at every angel I could think of. I found I can one shot kill the Panther from the front at ranges up to 1500 meters. with the M4A3/76. I can turret a Tiger with 2 hits and only 1 from the back. Why pay all the perk points for another tank when the M4A3/76 gets the job done just fine with near no points. Plus the the M2 50cal top gun is not a bad plane killer.
