Indeed it did. Nearly 1000 built by most sources. The tank buster version utilized a BK7 75mm cannon.

What do you notice about all of those planes? Biased?

Didn't you know that most of WWII was fought by the allies against the allies?  :bhead

My curiosity is whether or not it fired AP rounds or just HE rounds like the B-25H has in-game.

The HS 129 B-2 had the automatic 37mm or 75mm cannon.  As the war progressed, the 75mm became more common.  They both fired AP ammunition.

The B-1 version had 4/7.9mm MG's and either dual 20mm or a single 30mm with the 30mm being loaded with AP rounds.  The B-1 version also carried 8/50kg bombs.

BTW... I have multiple sources that list the max speed of the Hs-129 as 253mph at around 12k *unloaded*.  It would be near Il-2 speeds once loaded for combat.

were there other axis strike aircraft made besides the Bf 110 and Fw 190F?
Hs129 and Ki-102, to name two.  Ki-102 didn't see a lot of action though, due to being hoarded for use against the invasion of the home islands.

I was talking about intercepting buffs with it, if it got added to the game it would be my #1 choice for attack plane, untill we get a Ju 88P
