Depending on how many usb ports and usb items that youi are running the best thing to do is get an external powered usb adapter, they can be bought at your local electronics store and wal mart fairly cheaply.

The problems you are talking about sound like you are drawing too much power away. Just my .02

chances are your pot is dirty try cleaning it. If you don't know how just ask. One thing you can try is to hold the trigger in as you connect the device into the USB once it is plugged in release the trigger, this should flash the software...works on a lot of sticks, not all.

olds,

Do you have the Logitech Profiler loaded?  If not, do it.  I have played all three years with no profiler...DrBone gave me some good advice to load it.  For some reason it controls the windows calibration and smooths out the stick when used in AH.  I would imagine it would fix this issue as well.

Hi All,

You might try to set a wee little amount of deadband on all 3 axis of flight (pitch, roll & yaw) to actually get a stick "zero neutral" center. This would give some compensation for nervous hand/wrist or pot walk/flutter caused by the way Windows reads the stick (no zero/center position--a number value assigned to the analog signal "position") so your stick will have a "true neutral" center so in-game trim controls are more predictable thus effective.

I found this out w/ my CH HOTAS just recently. Was night & day in the difference.

May not be your issue but I mentioned this just in case.

Hope this helps.

The profile ingame comes with the stick deadened already...actually a lot.  For some reason the Logitech profiler really helps this.
