Trust me. In FSO I have TS3 and vox on, it's a pain in the ass.

The only thing I dont like about TS is your not always sure who's talking and all you americans sound alike.  :bolt:

There are plug-ins for TS3 that will put an overlay text of the person who is talking over the game.

Trust me. In FSO I have TS3 and vox on, it's a pain in the ass.

I hated it at first as well, but when I got used to it, it proved SO SO useful when the VOX buffer filled up and check sixes got REALLY delayed.

It's only a pain when everyone first spawns.  Seems some people can't STFU and have chronic diarrhea of the mouth.  Once we're on our routes and get away from them, TS plus AHVox is a good thing.  Makes squad coordination comms lots easier if we can have one guy tune the other squad's vox and he can still communicate with us via TS.

been a vent user since 2000 - TS stinks :)
Like, ya know, when that thing that makes you move, it has pistons and things, When your thingamajigy is providing power, you do not hear other peoples thingamajig when they are providing power.

Both Teamspeak and Vent have the ability to change the sound quality.  Since Teamspeak 3, both are very competitive in sound quality.  However, I'd put TS3 above Vent in functionality for sure.

TS3 is finally out?  :D  OK, seriously, I'll have to get around to checking it out.

Used to be a program for TS that adds simulated noise to it. Makes it sound like real VHF and sych.

Technically, its still in open beta.  However, its been in open beta for so long, they might as well call it a release candidate.  Give it a look for sure, they did a pretty good job, if you ask me.

I really like Teamspeak. Much clearer and has many capabilities such as being able to adjust other individuals volume. I have my stick top buttons set for ACH's channel, range and teamspeak so I have all choices at thumbs reach

Thank goodness HT invented "E".............   :aok

I would love to see this level of complexity in the game.  I wonder how many people would make it through
500 feet after takeoff without over boosting or blowing an engine...lol.  Actually,  all I really want are my
fire extinguishers to work in my buffs....
