I remember doing a youtube search to try to show someone the updated graphics. 90% of the videos I could find were with the old graphics, and of the videos since the texture update, many of those were with detailed ground and water textures turned off.
So far, I've only seen one video with dynamic shadows turned on, and smoothing was not enabled. The shadows look like garbage without smoothing, I think, but smoothing drop my fps from 60 to less than 50, so I leave them off entirely. It's strange because I can run "medium" dynamic shadows in RoF with a negligible fps hit, and they look nice.
