Congratulations and Salute to Bruv119, the 2010 TOC winner.
« on: January 23, 2011, 05:32:26 PM »
It's way overdue and my apologies for that.

This was the first year we tried a wabbit KOTH to see which of the year's wabbits had the biggest teeth and earned the right to fly with the KOTH winners. Unfortunately only two of the eight eligible wabbits attended. Therefore the plan was changed and they flew a best of 5, for this year ONLY, and Krupnski beat TC to advance.

The TOC lasted about 90 minutes with just over a dozen KOTH winners in attendance. We flew 6 rounds and a previous TOC winner rose to the occasion and became our first TOC repeat winner.

Congratulations and salute to Bruv119 for the victory!!! The Spitfire Mk.IX was chosen for the 2011 first round crate.

Round by round results:
[1] JoeyTony in a Spitfire Mk.XVI
[2] Bruv119 in a P-51B
[3] Bruv119 in a Spitfire Mk.IX   (Wabbit)
[4] Krupnski in a Spitfire MkIX
[5] Kazaa in a Bf 110G-2
[6] Bruv119 wins in a Spitfire Mk.XVI

As usual Bruv119 will receive a plaque to commemorate the occasion.

Top five killers were: Bruv119 and Kazaa 11; DrBone and Krupnski 7; Grizz 6.

I really wasn't expecting to win it again.     There are plenty of amazing virtual pilots in this game that can perform admirably on their day.    :salute

I'd like to thank kazaa my BFF for being a constant drive to better my own flying when most of the time it is only average.   Many of us have these special relationships that make the game flying much more enjoyable and without them we would have left long ago.

It is a shame that all the talk before the event was unnecessary and hopefully everyone on the forum can remember that it IS just a GAME and that goes for everyone.  The warm ups beforehand and the behaviour during the event showed that no matter how much pride or ego gets in the way of fighting we can rise above all of it and have a good time.

I sit corrected but wont bother to have Skuzzy correct it as I can no longer edit it.
I got round #5 from the wKOTH and TOC mixed up.

It's a wonder I don't pour my cereal and milk in the toilet for breakfast.
