Although my model is older, this is pretty much what I have and it works great.

Cool.  Let me know how you like them.  Mine is still fully functional, but it could mysteriously break at any time.  :D

Not sure I want another USB device plugged in though...

Cap,

Glad you got sorted out!  I have two headsets that I can use with AH.  A plantronics USB one that was a bit expensive IRRC a few years ago and a Plantronics one that uses the 2.5mm (I think that's what they are called) jacks for MIC and headphones.  I found that "el Cheapo" plantronics one does a really good job and have been using that for a LONG time.

I would LOVE to find a way to get my Dave Clark's running for the PC.  I checked out the wiring post that Norm put up.  I probably have 5 sets of DC's and several of the old Knock offs from 25 years ago or so.  It would be awesome if I could get my Dave Clark setup and running in AH!  That puppy has been through the ringer but always served me well.  The Oregon Aero comfort kit made her just perfect in my book!

Sorry for steering this off track.....

Cap...let us know how the Turtle works out for you.  I know of folks that used to play America's Army that SWORE by the Turtle beach stuff for pinpointing sounds!

Cheers

:)

TURTLE BEACH HPA2 FOR THE WIN!

Very comfortable... sound quality is excellent... surround sound... and the TrackIr Proclip fits perfectly and snugly on the two 'wires' on the frame.  Mine's been attached for almost two years now.. no sagging or anything.

MUCH BETTER than the X11 and only a little more money.
