Something needs to be done for those of us who change to find fights.  A certain squad has chosen to frequent Early War now.  They play for rank, score, and toolshedding (map-flipping).  There were 5-6 of them when I last logged in.  I upped to defend the base...lasted about 10 minutes before they regrouped and came all at once.  After that, they started attacking the other side (that had zero people on).  A couple of others came on, and we went to that side to defend and find fights - which is the point of a combat game.  Well, wouldn't ya know...they switched back to attacking the other, now empty, side.

Let us switch as often as we need.  Impose whatever anti-spy rules you feel necessary, but let us switch so we can fight.  I'm not paying $14.95 a month to fight buildings...I can do that offline for free.

Looks like we found the same squad Dot, been trying to fight them but they..........  don't want to cooperate too much.   :rofl :rofl.  Then we tried to split and stay both sides at same time. They stopped upping completely. They are logged on, but no bases flashing if somebody is in there.   :lol

+1  I switch between Bish and Rook in MW to try and fight the Nits and they flop their attack back and forth to the lowest, sometimes 0 number side.  Would be nice to switch at will.

I can only speak to the LW arenas, but my thought is no to eliminating or reducing side-switch time during prime time hours.  Off hours arena I could see the need.

Agreed. during prime hours there are plenty of people to fight everywhere. Not so much at 2 am...

All true, but the world does not revolve around the LW arena.   ;)

Perhaps we need separate rules/settings between LW arenas and everywhere else.  It seems that many things that come to pass because of what happens in LW is applied everywhere with a broad brushstroke.  What's good for one arena is not always good for another.

I think allowing insta change would only cause issues, even with the restrictions you put up as an idea...sure, your intentions are honorable but it's the ones who need policing that make this freedom a wish...
A wish from a few months back asked for different coloured bardar to differentiate between enemy forces....not actually sure how this ended but this would work for the same purposes...nothing worse than taking the gamble and getting the wrong 50%.....or I have in the past just asked which side was getting tromped...

I wouldn't mind seeing the time limit lowered to 30 minutes instead of the current 60 minutes.
