Ask your doctor?

Never trusted doctors, what people say from their experience is alot more valuable.

If I understand you correctly and you tried this product instead of your usual pot of coffee, then I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that the jitters and headache where from caffeine withdrawal and had nothing to do with the product.
I didn't think about this but it's highly likely.  At the reception battalion at basic you become very familiar with these symptoms for a week or two.  It was worse on us smokers since we had to cope with nicotine and caffeine withdrawal at once.  Of course it was the easiest I ever quit smoking. :D

I see, thanks for the input.

Does anyone know exactly how it works? I mean I doubt that such a small bottle has so much caffeine to keep you up for five hours.

One more question, did anyone have stomach problems after drinking it?

I've taken quite a few of those and they do seem to work well.  I've never had an issue with them tasting bad or having them upset my stomach.  While I'd say no energy drink is going to be good for you, at least with 5 Hour it's not full of Taurine which does give you the shakes/gitters.

I prefer Monster Low Carb or Absolutely Zero or anything.  Good taste, doesn't leave you thirsty, but if you drink enough of anything your body builds a tolerance.  I have never had chest pains.

Ive used them occasionally and they do seem to jack me up for 4 to 5 hours.  Side effect on me at least is the next day I feel worn out and dragged down.  I don't recommend them.  Get more sleep when you can.

The last time I had an energy drink, I drank half of a Monster and stayed up until 4 a.m. that night.  It was almost like I was zoned out the whole time, too.  I had drunk them before, and I never had that problem (other than a headache now and then).  Since then I have not had one.

I have not tried the 5 hour shots, and I probably never will.

I don't drink any energy drink. Ever. Used to drink it a little bit a few years ago, but since then, I feel much better without them than with. I eat a good breakfast with some orange juice and some fruits to accompany my cereal. I also take a multi-vitamin pill each morning as well. Everyday I feel fresh and awake.

Energy drinks are just flat-out bad for you. Consuming a lot of these over long periods of time will damage your nervous system.

Mark my words on this.

All them energy drink will catch up to all the ppl who drink it all the time.  What will happen, in 10-15-20 years, their metabolism will be shot.  their pancreas, liver, kidney will not function well or even fail to do anything. And have a massive weight increase (100-300 lbs).
