On our current model of the B-17, we have 12 machine guns.  Historically the 17 had one more gun in the radio hatch just above where the radio operator sat.  I think there should be an update made to put that last gun into our 17 in the game.  Maybe not make another "gunner position" for us, just have the gun fire at what the player fires at, like an auto turret.

It was removed on early models. By the later B-17G which we have, with staggered waist guns and the Cheyenne Tail gun, there was no radio room gun.

It wasn't useful, it wasn't effective, it was just a placebo to give the radio operator something to do. They removed it.
