Was Jams original post a violation of rule #4?

Really?

Jams a long time AVA flier. He had some questions and a valid (to him for sure) and pointed question.

I read the original post and saw no trolling, flamebaiting etc.

Is this where we are now?

We are not able to criticize?

why??

it just looked like an angry "off the cuff" post to me. mostr all responses were positive in nature.

Kind of looked like flamebaiting or posting to incite or annoy.  It had nothing constructive to offer...just basically a "this sux" statement.

indeed... I thought I had gotten too close to the line that I promised myself I wouldn't approach this year two nights ago.  Skuzzy doesn't need me being a numpty.  He has enough of those without my help.

Blah who reads the rules... I dont even know what rule #4 is and dont care. It was hard for me to take seeing the ava which gave me many nights of joy years ago still in the same shape when i left.

Since that time when Combat Theater (the original AvA) existed, a lot of new arenas were opened and compete directly with some of the player base.  I am not so hard core AvA that I believe it is the only arena to fly in.  I do recognize however that doing this  :bhead and expecting different results is a sign of insanity.  So, when I have had my fill of one arena, I check out another.  Although, this type of arena will never compete with the Main LW arenas, it is critical to offer this WW II combat option 24 hours.  The AvA fills the holes in between the Special Events and the Chess Piece arenas very nicely.

I take Jamusta's comment about the arena being in the same state, more about the numbers and furballing content.  I don't believe that he has experienced any of the challenges or objectives that Jaeger has been infusing from time to time.  Nor do I expect that alone would shed any brighter view on the progressive state of the arena.

I think that is due in part by the dedication of the awesome group in charge to keep the goals simple and pure, develop and promote historically inspired setups that are engaging and immersive in a 24 hour arena.

You know everyone has bent over backwards to be nice to you. Apologies have been made to you. Explaining why people were waiting to change sides has been done with you. Two days after the fact you're still whining. You came in didn't like what happened and immediately came to the boards and had a temper tantrum. Then when that got skuzzied you basically told people to leave the AVA and go to the DA. Then you fly it again and seem to have a decent time and come back telling people how they can't control others they should control themselves. Maybe it's time for you to take your own advice. You're saying the AVA is in the same shape as when you left... Maybe that's because you're back. So far you've done nothing on the BBS but complain, tell others to go to another arena, and toot your own horn... Yep that sounds just like the old AVA. :rolleyes:

some days are good, some days, not so good. unfortunately we have to take the good with the bad in the AVA. 1 night in there doesn't qualify. while i do know exactly where he's coming from, as i was a victim of the same gameplay, i dont worry about one night. again some days are better then others. it would be nice if every day was all good in there, but its not. you can either live with it, or move on. in my case, i just live with it, and hope the next night has better game play. just my 2 cents.
