Living near Johnson Space Center here in Houston, we all remember. We will all never forget.

We all recognize the sacrifice they shouldn't have ever had to make.

I watched it live in my 1st grade classroom.

One of my favorite songs of all time, written by my favorite musician of all time, was written in honor of those men and women.

I love this song... Flying for Me

I was a DJ at a small radio station and watched it live while I was on air. I knew I had just witnessed history and a great tragedy all at the same time.

I don't remember exactly what I said when I broke in, but I dumped the song that was playing (Billy Joe Royal- Burned Like A Rocket) and went to our news feed. I also immediately yanked that song out of our rotation.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

I was in my 7th Period class in the 7th Grade when our teacher Mr. Chesley closed the door to the classroom and took a chair to the front of the class and turned facing away from us.  He sat down looking at us and said these words, "Just a little while ago, the shuttle Challenger exploded after liftoff."

Every teacher was instructed to give that news at the beginning of 7th period class in my Jr. High School.  At 3:15 PM, we all were running home to turn on CNN and watch the news.

Chuck Norris can pick oranges from an apple tree and make the best lemonade in the world. Every morning when you wake up, swallow a live toad. Nothing worse can happen to you for the rest of the day. They say money can't buy happiness. I would like the opportunity to find out. Why be serious?

I was outside when Columbia went over Texas.  I was standing in my driveway when a dollop of melted metal hit my roof.  I contacted NASA about it.  They never came to get it, so I preserved it in a block of acrylic and mounted it.

<S> to all them.

just wow, incredible... i was shocked too when Columbia breaked up during re-entry,
they risking there lifes for our all future.
