Odds are its similar to HAWX in its presentation but the screen shots look great.

Bah!  Just a bunch of hair-dryers...

As good as the game, graphics, etc, might be, my interest was quelled moments after I hit the "Screenshots" button.

Wow you guys are cynical.  For one, you should be happy that another flight sim is actually being released, even if it's not one you want to play.  It shows the genre is not dead yet and game producers are willing to invest their money in it.

That said, it looks beautiful.  I'm a little skeptical of the low system requirements, but I hope their project is successful.

On the contrary, that is a realistic assessment of the near future.  The bulk of our airforce is fighters from the '70s that, while consistently upgraded, are long past time for retirement.  A friend of mine in the USAF told me that many of our F-16s have more than 5000 hours on them and are literally falling apart.  Look at the countries that are heavily investing in fifth generation fighters; the USA isn't one of them, and even the cost-effective F-35 seems to be having lots of troubles.

+1 QFT

I am glad to see yet another flight game coming out since they inevitably help the entire genre by pushing kids who might be interested in flight into wanting something more like AH or other similar flight games.

A classic net backup...

Well, the eye candy looks nice, at least.
