NO NO NO!!!!  Can't fly them and can't fly against them ;)

p-47's are easy.....as long as the guy flying it doesn't know what he's doing.  :bolt:

i just didn't wanna overkill on the allied side.

i, or one of us will work on one for the jugs.

I figured so much~ had a blast in flying them in Ranger's Strangle, and we have them in this FSO too.

Just couldn't not say something~ they were more New Guinea then the Solomons really, Congrats again CAP1!

Oh, and they "are" easy targets in the wrong hands or low and slow in a zeek/Ki furball...

So far (One afternoon), GGGGreeeeatt setup. I havent flown the Corsairs very much but the 1a is a reaally sweet ride. Well done AvA staff for this one. The 61 appears to be a capable foe for the American planeset. Keep up the good work and see you all in the skies.

You do me too much credit Sir, I was flying the Pony Bravo aginst you the other night, its our squad ride too, so maybe an unfair advantage.
PS I absolutely suck in the Jug.

The F4U-1A might be faster on the acceleration than the Ki-61..... but the birdcage F4U ( F4U-1 ) is a different story, unless it is diving away ..

The Ki-61 is close to the F4U-1A in the Climb with the F4U-1A slightly being better

Now the Ki-61 walks the Dog when climbing against the older F4U-1...... and can easily climb out on the older F4U-1 from sea level all the way up to around 15 or 16K alt.

makes for a good battle Ki-61 verses either F4U series in this setup...... and the P38G will have a close fight as well. the Ki61 with WEP vs the P38G is almost equal in the climb, but drops off without the use of wep

The Ki-61 with WEP is very close to the P38G in speed as well...... although just a bit slower.... .... even more slower on regular mil power. but it is slow close it will be up to the pilots more so than the performance of the Aircraft....

Thanks TC I agree the KI-61 is a good bird to matchup against both F4Us and the early Lightning.
Most of the concerns for a lopsided setup were for the A6M2.

Glad you found the pink bows for us. I would have hated to go into battle without my pink bow. :(

Nice find Jim. :aok

I enjoyed the set up and had a good time getting my arss handed to me in the Ki man I stink in that thing.
I tried to lean how it shall fights last night  in a flaps turning fights against f4u bad idea... got owned. Is going to be fun learning a new Ac.

The puffy aKK was a bit crazy and the ships were doing a great job maneuvering off road on the beaches. But over all the base to base action and plane set is fun.
I personally like the terrain and set up
Thank you guys  :aok
