The first one is good because it is generally quite hard to herd the cats, I mean pilots, in group to get them in a semblance of formation prior to takeoff (as opposed to 5 of them sitting there overlapping each others' planes at the spawn-in point). :)

The second pic is just plain nice.  Good composition, guns blazing -- very nice.  :aok

I don't know, all u have to do is tell everyone to take off in the same direction and the second is a head on shot, which is just lazy. A real Luftwaffe pilot would have found a way around that jugs 12 o'clock.

DerJude from a screenshot perspective the second shot does look quite good.

I thought it also spoke of the action that a lot have experienced in this scenario.

As for ACM....we all know what a HO is  :D

Just for the record, and not defending anything here, the jug attacked me from my low 12 at a high rate of speed.
lethrnek called a Check 6 on me and I saw him 400 out 50 degrees low on my nose.  I reacted last minute, rolled and fired. To me, and I understand beauty is in the eye of the beholder but....it was a nice shot. The smiley you eluded to was the wry grin (mine) because I survived...and also because "I" might be the only person to "like" the shot.  It's obvious that you did not.  I do not recall seeing any of yours so I assume your expertise comes from years of experience. Please feel free to share some.

I have a number of collections. Frame 5  http://www.kkenshome.com/BoGFrame5/

The link has a Slideshow that has some narative on each pic displayed. It may briefly indicate an action at that time.  DERJude, You may not want to look, since the pic I posted I thought was the best!   :D :D :D

Wow,

Everything OK Der Jude?

A real Luftwaffe pilot? I have had P-47's make head on attacks on me during every frame so far. I guess some of them figure with 8 .50 cal guns they have a good chance on winning that encounter. In a big furball there are going to be HO's as every one is swirling around trying to get a good guns angle. Nothing you can do but try to make it a hard shot, or point your cannons in their face and hope you are a better shot. Frame 5 I tried to avoid the HO and paid the price with a Pilot wound and Radiator hit engine hit and had to run for an air field right away.

As a picture, I think it is awesome. and KKen does a good job on his slide shows.

See you all tonight!
