Capture = death. So if you got ditch before even close to nme base and that did not affected your kill/death ratio, now you'd better go home or at least be close to home base before the ditch. I like this feature, though I used to ditch a lot before, and capture already affected my scores... But it is more realistic.

I recommend awarding kills of captured pilots!

I agree, as captures now is same as death for the loosing pilot (with maybe a tad higher score multiplier?), ditches in enemy territory should give the attacker a kill when the landed/crashed guy exits plane.

I agree with easymo here.  Let's give people fewer incentives to hang in ack, not more.  Let captures count as deaths, but don't start giving credit for them to others.

In other words, if it ain't broke...

Surely if you managed to get an enemy aircraft to land intact in friendly territory, you'd be heavily commended? Seems a bit wierd making it to your benefit to shoot down a plane landing in YOUR territory

I can understand the rule on bailing. it just to easy to bail. But some of the best fun ive had in this sim, was getting the plane on the ground, while the 5 ackhugging gangbangers whine about why I did,nt hold still and let them kill me.
