Freezing rain and sleet for the last 4 hours, and now thunder sleet here in Missouri. Snowing like crazy 20 miles north of us.

Awaiting freezing rain here in Ohio. I prefer snow over freezing rain IMO.

Move up here, nothing but lots of inches of snow last night, might get some freezing rain today, but who knows.

Been freezing rain here in Mo since about 11 am yesterday and it finaly changed over to sleet a few hours ago and suposed to change to snow by around noon. Only 10+ inches on top of a inch of ice.
Hauled 108 pallets of salt and icemelt all over the saint louis area yesterday and after a 15 hour day the stores was as empty as when i started.

When will the utility companies finally realize that they MUST bury their lines?

Anyone having trouble with a blizzard can chalk it up to lack of preparedness or stupidity.

That is all, now quit whining and find a warm woman to snuggle with. (Blizzards r teh fun!)

Purdue just canceled classes.  Purdue "never" cancels classes.  The last snow day was four years ago.  The one before that was in 1999, before that was 1994, and before that was 1984.  So that makes this only the 5th time in 30 years.  And tomorrow the conditions should be far worse than they are right now.

So all that time studying yesterday for my OBHR exam today... wasted!  Whatever shall I do?

94' was a really bad snow storm for us in that area, epically in December.  Remember we had 16 days of snow fall that month.

Were screwed this go around, especially in my part of IL.  Worst case we can see 3/4 an inch of freezing rain before its all over. Id rather have the 16+ inches of snow at least I would still have power, trees, and other aerial objects that the ice and 40+ winds will bring down

I feel for you guys. It has been rough here in Phoenix this week.. It is sunny and 65 degrees. We are freezing to death here... Weather is terrible... :salute

People must be in panic mode right now.  Did the state declare a state emergency and call on FEMA?   heheheh

We have a lot of snow thus far, 4 degree, 25-30 mph wind.  This would be the most snow we had is 2010-11 winter.  Funny seeing all these small-light weight cars all over the road while i am conformable in my Jeep with 4 wheel drive.  I had to push one car up a hill with my jeep.
