Packet loss, I think
« on: February 01, 2011, 06:54:29 PM »
Once in a while it seems all planes around me "adjust" or delay then everything zooms back to normal. Looking at net status I am solid except for the periodic spike, is this packet loss?

Another question, When looking at my background processes am I interested in only those currently using CPU resources or memory resources or both?

Frame reates steady at 59-60 and is consistant!

Swings in variance will cause what you describe.  Packet loss would just exacerbate it.

Run Ping Plotter to 206.16.60.38, for a few minutes, and that should get you an idea of what it could be.
