'RMrider', my 17 yr. old son who just graduated HS early and with honors leaves in 12 days for US. Marine Corps Basic Training.

Please join me in wishing him well, and all the best, with great success.

I am very proud of this young man, and know he will make an outstanding soldier.

Heya Wojo, hmmm, anything worth seeing in 29 Palms - let me get back to you on that.

We do have the Joshua Tree National Park if you like desert scenery/scrambling over boulders etc, and March is a good time of year, not too hot, cool in the evenings etc.

If ya fancy a beer or 2, gimme a shout (I'll pm you my number) and once I've got my head out of my butt, I'll pm you some decent info re 29 fella.
