Need help with choices
« on: February 03, 2011, 12:57:17 AM »
Looking for vid card for my build, need opinions on what is best, (money is a factor) narrowed it down to these three
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Productcompare.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100006519+50001402+40000048&IsNodeId=1&bop=And&ActiveSearchResult=True&CompareItemList=48|14-130-591^14-130-591-TS,14-130-555^14-130-555-TS,14-130-604^14-130-604-TS

Would go for the expensive one on the list, but only if the performance boost is worth the pricetag.

Thank you tech wizards.

Not bad choices but if I was going to spend the $249 I would get this one...

Its only $10 more than your highest and it comes with a $20 rebate. That is if price is your main worry. I have been more than happy with my GTX470 which is the linked on here and it works like a champ for all that I want it to do.

I saw you had a 460  in the mix, Newegg just came out with a sale on the lifetime warranty 460. Just posting this, thought you might like to see.

Goodluck on the card you buy.

Don't know what your cpu is but sometimes the CPU can bottleneck what the graphic cards can put out.  Most of the 480's, 580 card reuqire almost all processors to be overclocked to get the most out of them....just food for thought!
