I usually go with Trane Equipment or Amana Equipment. I can also help anyone that is getting new equipment or quotes for new equipment. I know the right questions to ask, I can help enable you to sweeten the deal that you end up with, and you will also seem much more knowledgeable. Any questions or anything just let me know.  :salute

No problem. I have a high approval rating for financing as well. I mainly use Wells Fargo and they offer great deals. I offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. It's truly a win win situation for all of my customers. I have an A+ rating on the better business bureau and we have raving reviews all over the web. Texas is offering a $1000 Rebate for qualifying systems on top of a $500 Federal Tax Rebate as well. All of my customers get a great warranty on parts and labor on top of the manufacturers warranty. Moral of the story is that you can't go wrong with me or my company. I sound like a salesman.. LOL Customer of mine or not, I would love to help anyone on here with anything regarding HVAC.. I am an open book.  :salute

Trane compressors are crap. Copeland scroll compressors are where it's at.

Installers are here now putting in my split trane heat pump xl15i, The market here is very competitive on pricing, but I did get a good deal under the circumstances of location.

Thanks again for your input on it though.   :aok

My furnace blows, My A/C gives me the cold shoulder, and my built-in vacuum system sucks. My question is, should I reconsider annulling my marriage?

Ask any HVAC Tech (that's the person in the van who actually works for a living) and they will tell you themselves. Trane compressors don't last as long as copeland scrolls do. And when you live in a place like Texas you cannot afford to have a compressor go out in the middle of a Texas summer. If you pay money out of your own pocket for a Trane product, then you love throwin money away.IMHO

my personal opinion after 30 +/- years in the HVAC-R field is it is not really the name of the product ( Trane, American Standard, Westinghouse, G.E., York, Amana, Carrier, Rudd, Rheem, Payne, Nordyne, etc...) but the quality of the installation by the person or crew initially installing the system, and then the FIRST initial start-up of said system.... ie.. making sure the new system is properly brought on-line

as for Trane Compressors...... well Trane is a major distributor of Copeland compressors both reciprocating & Scroll and also re-manufactures copeland reciprocating compressors along with re-manufacturing other Top Brand Company's reciprocating compressors like Emrson, Carrier, etc...... the semi-hermetic types...... and they re-manufacture them to Trane's "Higher Standards"

ever heard of the compressor named "SnowBall" which was a "Trane Climatuff Hermetic Reciprocating Compressor"....... it is legendary........ and the reason they came out with the ad slogan "You can't Stop a Trane" was because of a Tree that fell on a Trane Condenser and smashed the unit all out of shape, big ol tree laying on it.. the tech got there and the unit was still running , compressor, condenser fan, everything without any problems or leaks....... "Wow, You can't stop a Trane!"  ;)

also, The other Manufacturer's could not wait and avidly anticipated the day the patent on the "Trane ClimaTuff Compressor" became "unlocked" per say, so that all the other Manufacturer's could start using a similar design....... as for Scroll type / Screw type compressors. Trane has them as well like everyone else, except most other Brands are using a 3rd party compressor part like Copeland, Bristol, Tecumseh, Danfoss etc.....

so to each their own opinion........ but it really comes down to the quality and the abilities of the Person/Crew installing the product.... how good is his/their craftsmanship???

TequilaChaser knows what he is talking about. Amana uses copelands, and I would take A Trane system over Amana any day of the week.
