Ack-Ack: Why remove it?

The EWA and MWA are nothing but a refuge for the self-inflating ego oriented squads, that do nothing but add to their score. They do what they can to increase perk points with no opposition, no competition, and do their best to get their names on the front page scores. This merely feeds the nonstop chest thumping and encourages this behavior in new upstart chest thumping "squads" (I use the term loosely).

Why nourish the poisonous fruit? Rather, deny them the recognition and it will save us all some time, trouble, and effort.

Then make it so perks gained in one arena are good for that arena only.  That would stop squadrons like the SOAR from going to into the EW and MW arenas and farming perks to use them in the LW arena.  Now they'd be forced to use the perks they farmed in that particular arena.

Hypocrisy you say? You'd need to go pretty far back in my posts to find anything where I call a specific person out. Nobody wants to hear it, except the "Jenny Dramas" I believe is the term AKAK uses.

way to take a blind shot?

SOAR hasent been in EW in force since the summer.

and when we were in there it wasent "everyone on one side, capturing empty bases".

we had very fun wars with the ironhorsemen, the 337th and the C-hawks who came in there.

do your research next time old man. and stop humping SOAR's ankle while your at it.

I've flown against the SOARS longer than you've flown with them and your description of how they fly is complete polar opposites of the truth.  The SOARs have been one of the bigger joke squadrons this game has seen, only recently eclipsed by the vDevilRejects and to be fair, at least the vDevilRejects do enjoy an occasional attack on a defended base.

At least I haven't heard Pluto or Eaglhrt accuse me of cheating lately, that was sure fun hearing those whines after smacking them around.

Tyrannis reminds me of an old carnival side show.  The one with the dancing chicken.  In order to get the chicken to dance, it was placed on a hot plate and the heat was turned up.  The sick pups did a tour in the EW last rotation for a change of pace, to work on squad unity and in keeping with my theme, to turn up the heat on the hot plate to the few regulars in that arena.  It seems Tyrannis' feet are still feeling the heat from last month because he is still acting like a dancing chicken in a carnival side show.

We have since moved to the MW arena to keep working on the squad unity thing and just do something different.  We are not a squad that people gravitate towards. We do not throw up mass missions in the arenas like other squads tend to do.  We are just a few guys that get together in a loose nit squad and try to have a little fun.  In some respects, squad participation had grown kind of stale over the past few years.  I pushed for us to get back into FSO as a method to increase squad unity.  We have ventured into that area and it has helped some.  The current stint in MW and last month in EW was another avenue to help build up our cohesiveness again.  I expressed concerns with the squad that we may be prone to being labled by doing this.  In fact, being blasted by others has helped to build our cohesiveness even more so I thank you.

To those that have expressed support in this string I say thank you.  We may not always fly the way others may want us to but we may not always have the same agenda as others as well.  I know that I have had some good fights in all of the arenas and look forward to many more.  My work schedule has precluded me from heavily participating in the MW arena but my scheduled days off are coming and I look forward to flying with and fighting against many of you.

you insist on bashing them every chance you get.

i think SOAR became a thorn in your side for along time. made you angry because we were alot better than your giving us credit for. and probably shot you down more times than you'll admit. therefore your doing what you mock other people for doing:

coming on the forums and attempting to downtalk us because you got your  :ahand to you by us.

and i love how you force your judgement down upon squads like your god of the forums, and your word is the supreme law and truth  :rofl

for a person ive never seen in EW MW LW, you sure do have alot of critisizm  for what other people do.

(oh, and dont feed me the "well maybe i fly on different times than you?" line you did the other guy. because ive flown on both mornings evenings nights and past midnight. never ever seen you in there.)

Wow ... this has "elitist" written all over it.

They do what they can to increase perk points with no opposition, no competition, and do their best to get their names on the front page scores.

and that is different than those who fly with the horde and vulch the crap out of people and game the game to get their name in lights in the LW arena ?

This merely feeds the nonstop chest thumping and encourages this behavior in new upstart chest thumping "squads" (I use the term loosely).

Again, how is that different than some of the LW only squads ? ... plenty of chest thumping going on around there for sure.

I have been saying for years ... you want to change the gameplay for the better ... get rid of ranks/scoring all together. I could give a rats arse about perks as I have explained above.

yes, i come in here and "thump my chest" sometimes over who ive killed.

I can understand that for someone who has a hard time breaking a .5 K/D ... even a blind squirrel will eventually find a nut.

:rofl you judge a person by a score on a paper? ignorance is bliss huh?

score is in no way a proper way to judge how a person plays, when there are so many ways to manipulate it.

Maybe when someone in the SOAR squadron can put up a fight that would be worthy enough to call a fight, then maybe my opinion will change of them.  There were many times when just Shuffler and I would shut down Eaglhrt and his girls in the MW arena and sit back and listen to Eaglhrt and Pluto calling us cheats.  Great laughs.  Judging by some of the most recent members of SOARs, I can see the haven't recruited to increase their quality.

Really by who?  Surely not by the little kid that refuses to back up his claims in the DA....

The SOARs got their reputation on their own and it's not for being known as one of the elite or better squadrons in the game, why else do you think they're butt of so many jokes amongst that flew or currently fly regularly in the EW or MW arenas?

I've never seen you in the LW arena either, does that mean you don't fly at all?  I live on the west coast of US and usually fly after 10pm PST in the LW Blue arena, ask anyone that flies in that arena at nights.  As for the EW and MW arenas, I used to fly exclusively in the MW arena from when it first launched until about a year ago and then moved to the LW arenas since MW population tends to drop dramatically at nights.  You can easily verify by looking at the tours I've flown, they clearly show which arenas and the hours I've spent in them each tour.

Now go run along, you don't want to miss your recess.

K/D is not a score but simply an indicator of how one survives against opponents ... and .5 is nothing to chest thump about ... it simply shows that you have a lot more to learn.

You K/H averages around 2 per hour ... you surely are ripping up the skys.

EDIT: I have been around since 2002 and I know a blowhard when I see one.

Actually.... That's in no way true.  You said how you thump your chest... All he did was look up factual data to prove that you therefore don't actually get to chest thump all that often.

Get a stick and you'll be able to thump more though!!!
