now that you've brought that up....i've searched before, on how much it costs(pollution and energy wise) to make these things......

or....there was a commercial on the local radio station the other day....saying something about recycling 1 single aluminmum can can power a tv for so many hours......often wondered how much energy it costs to recycle that can though........

I saw a TON of El Caminos growing up in the 80s, and they ALWAYS annoyed the hell out of me. Is it a car? Is it a pickup truck?! I DON'T KNOW! MAKE UP YOUR MIND!!!

What do you need a 'truck' for? The ute is the way to go. As fast as a sedan, as useful as a truck. Best of both worlds.

You forget about the original cost of mining, transporting and smelting the bauxite.

Recycling aluminium uses about 5% of the energy required to create aluminium from bauxite, because the latter requires a lot of electrical energy to electrolyse aluminium oxide into aluminium.

Worst car ever made in my oppinion, is the nissan Sunny

the reason is, there is nothing bad about it, but nothing good either, it is just plain and has no character, like when you think of a fiero, whats the first thing that comes to mind? they catch on fire, but they are also very nice looking, or when you think of a toyota AE86 corolla, it may not be the prettiest car, but it is the grandaddy of drifting, when you think of the Nissan sunny, you just see this plain boring cookie cutter car, that in my oppinion is why it is the worst car in the world

Any Caddy with the 4.3 litre V-8. Worst motor ever made IMHO. They used a all aluminum block and heads and put cast iron sleeves in the cylinders.

Why not mention the Crown Victoria or the Mustangs with "similar" issues?     But I've never wondered how people get hooked on the Pinto and the 27 related deaths from the fuel neck filler.

They did a bit on this on Car Talk a while back, amusing and pretty accurate in my somewhat limited experience.

Pinto also had a flaw that made it prone to popping into reverse....

That said, for completely unrelated reasons, I will never buy another Ford.

My Toyota has been quite reliable, my Fords, not so much, thank you.
