sorry to make another thread, but this plane caught my attenchian and has become my second favorite fighter of world war 2.

Maybe later on down the road, but not at this time imo, as many of the EW and MW plane are need of an update.  

The IAR 80 had very limited success in WWII, with low production numbers the IAR-80 and 81 only count for less than 350 aircraft.

Perk this plane?  LOL! Top speed of 320mph at altitude plus only 6*303cal license-Browning MGs? What do you think, how could this plane compete with the other '42 rides, spit5, 109 g-2, early la5, p-39?
This little elegant bird was so outclassed. Would be a hangar queen even in the early war. Plus only 300 were built, couldnt play much role in the eastern front.
Maybe a few years later.

EW:1940-very early 1942.

MW:1942-very early 1944.

LW:1944 to the end of the war.

Looking at those pictures and seeing those tiny wings it look like it would have an amazing roll rate but would turn like a brick.. but thats just me

key word MODEL...he's was talking about taking a base 190 model and modifying it to fit the IAR...not sure how much less work that would be but...maybe it would work

Heck, all the planes look simmilar, have 2 wings etc...
Btw, Killer, it was very light, im sure it would handle just like a c202, with a better roll rate.
