Mission indicator
« on: February 14, 2011, 04:59:13 PM »
I think some sort of indication that a country launched a mission would help stimulate a fight. Nothing specific NO info on what base it originates at, NO info on where it is going, just that there has been a mission launched. Maybe somewhere on the clipboard could be something like

MISSIONS IN PLAY

             BISH-2
             ROOK-0
           KNIGHT-1

Just something that says, " HEY! pay attention"

flame away!  :rock

IMO Juggler, I'd say no.  Since the new dar was in place its very easy to find and detect missions. Also the mission leader could easily say "Mission tune to channel 179"  No mission planner needed.

I'm pretty sure there would be a lot of 1-player missions  launched quickly, to confuse the enemy with constant alarms.  ;)

been in the ma's late at night when the bishops have their "rolling missions".   bunch of us stopped chasing bishops around the map and just let them take whichever base they want.  we see no point in upping just to see 20 bishops crash-diving on a base with p47 killing all hangars.

That's exactly what came to my mind as I was reading the 1st post.

The SAPP guys fly twin-engine torpedo bombers, so it couldn't be them.
