32" LED Settings?

I just hook up a 32" LED screen, I got everything to work fine but it seems that the planes that are .5k and out have a small amount of white shading around them and are slightly pixelated, I'm using a Nivida 8800 GTS and Windows XP, I have been trying to adjust settings in game, native resolution 1920-1080 and I also am using a DVI to HDMI hook up on my system and I'm not getting the results I need, does anyone have any suggestions.

It seems you've run to a compatibility problem. I've seen that situation on a dvd-player that was supposed to provide upscaled 1080i through its faroudja chip - but when connecting through dvi the image looked like someone went nuts with sharpening - each border of image details was 'burned in' with white halo.

        Have you tried using the PC input on the TV. When I connected mine, I tried both HDMI and the PC connections. The HDMI connection wasn't so good, but the PC connection worked just fine at the full 1920X1080 resolution.

Update I found the reason for the white halos, it had to do with the LED TV color settings, but since I've been trying to tweak the video card I can't seem to get rid of jagged edges now, it is worst when looking at plane directly from behind trailing edges have that jagged edge look. I have a Nividia 8800-GTS with the most recent drivers installed. If anyone can post up the best settings for this issue I would appreciate it.

You need to enable anti-aliasing if you want to get rid of the jagged edges. Of course another option is that you're watching the screen way too close so you see the relatively large pixels of a 32" 1920x1080 full-hd screen. Then nothing will help unfortunately.

No, I moved it away before starting using it, like I said it only occurrs when you are looking at a edge on view, everything else is very good. I did enable AA and didn't seem to make a difference, I think it is some combination of video card setting along with that, which is what I'm trying to figure out.
